Get your tickets now for NPPB's Dodger Day 2008 at Dodgers Stadium!
Dodger Day is a chance for members of the Newbury Park PONY Baseball community -- players, parents, managers, coaches, umpires, everybody -- to take in a pro baseball game at Dodger Stadium together, with a few cool bonuses tossed in.
What are these cool bonuses, you ask? Well, first things first...
That's right. Come to Dodger Stadium with us to watch the Dodgers play host to the Colorado Rockies for nine innings of pro baseball action.
Okay, now the bonuses...
All NPPB players who wear their team uniform jerseys will be able to participate in a pre-game parade on the Dodger Stadium field. This has been lots of fun for our players in the past, so please remember those jerseys so our players can walk the field before the game. (Yes, player jerseys are required for players marching in the parade. No jersey, no marchy.)
Managers and coaches who wear their uniform jerseys and/or team hats can also accompany their jersey-uniformed players in the parade.
Note: We do need to sell lots of tickets in order to qualify for participation in the parade. It's been loads of fun in past years for players and coaches alike, so help us out here!
What? That's not enough for you? Okay, fine. How 'bout this? Everyone attending will also get a free Dodgers skullcap. Yep, free. How 'bout that?
April 27, 2008. Important scheduling times include:
Field-level seats in sections 52 (deep right field) and 53 (deep left field) of Dodger Stadium (see stadium map) are available from NPPB for $40 each. (Regular face-value price is $50.) These two sections are not next to each other, so plan accordingly when ordering tickets for groups that want to sit together.
Please understand that we have a limited number of tickets available, so be sure to order yours as soon as possible while we still have some available. (Once they're gone, they're gone.)
To get your NPPB Dodger Day 2008 tickets, contact the NPPB Fundraising Director or your Team Parent any time after February 28. Payments can be made by cash or check to your Team Parent or at the Dos Vientos Snack Shack.
If you have any preference as to which stadium section you'd like (such as if you have a group you'd like to keep together), be sure to include that information in your request. (Remember, the two sections for which we have tickets are on opposite sides of the park, so keep this in mind if ordering tickets for a large group.)
Ticket request deadline is April 13, 2008 Or whenever tickets run out, whichever comes first. Ticket supply is limited, so don't wait!
